# Morfi Markets

> Morfi is an opinion-market platform built on Solana. Users trade their view on contested questions across politics, sports, culture, and crypto. Markets resolve on-chain, payouts are transparent, and creators earn a share of the volume their markets generate.

## What Morfi is

- Opinion markets, NOT prediction markets — a Morfi market asks "what does the crowd think will happen?" and prices the answer in real time. Resolution uses sustained community consensus on-chain, not an external oracle.
- Users buy outcome tokens to back their view; tokens pay out 1:1 in USDC if the corresponding outcome wins.
- Built on Solana with classic SPL Token outcome tokens; a bonding curve graduates to an AMM at scale.
- Web app built with Next.js 15 (App Router); markets resolve and pay out on-chain in USDC, with no house edge.
